The beaches of Ksamil are drop-dead gorgeous with their beautiful white sand and crystal-clear waters.
Of all the beaches we visited on the Albanian Riviera, I preferred the white sand beaches here.

Map of Ksamil beaches
Below is a map of the best beaches in Ksamil so you can easily find them.
The best beaches in Ksamil
1. Bora Bora Beach
Bora Bora Beach is one of my favorite beaches in Ksamil.
This popular beach, around 100 meters long and 25 meters wide has white sand and several small concrete piers. It’s easy to reach by car, with a parking lot just 50 meters away.
You’ll find plenty of beach amenities like sunbeds, umbrellas, and pedal boats for rent. The water is inviting, perfect for swimming just a few meters in.
Plus, there are numerous apartments, hotels, restaurants, and beach bars right on the beach, making it a bustling holiday destination and one of the busiest beaches in Ksamil.
Just know that during peak times, like August, it gets packed. If you prefer a more tranquil scene, aim for a weekday visit or swing by earlier in the season.
2. Lori Beach
Lori Beach is popular with families, and it’s also a favorite of mine.
It’s a stone’s throw away from the town center, so it’s easy to reach on foot or by car.
This beach has a small bay with bright turquoise waters and golden sand. The water is pristine and shallow waters, perfect for a dip.
It’s a popular spot, so it gets crowded during the summer season (July and August). Aim to get there early if you want to secure a good spot.
3. Augusto Beach
Augusto Beach has a more private feel compared to the main beaches. This means you can enjoy your day without the hassle of big crowds.
It’s a bit off the beaten path, so you’ll need to walk a short distance from the main street. But don’t worry, it’s an easy trek.
You won’t find tons of sunbeds or loud beach bars here. It’s basic, so bring what you need.
4. Ksamil Beach 7
The best part of Ksamil Beach 7, known locally as Plazhi 7, is how close it is to the Ksamil islands.
Just 100 meters away, you can swim, kayak or take a boat trip to the little islands ($12 per hour).
Ksamil Beach 7 is spacious, less crowded, and great for exploring the islands, kayaking, or swimming. The food is average, so I recommend eating somewhere else.
5. Ksamil Beach (Plazhi Ksamil)
Ksamil Beach is the town’s main beach.
It’s packed with amenities, lots of people, and plenty of seaside dining choices.
Be aware, all sunbeds are owned by nearby restaurants, and prices differ. Those closer to the shore cost more than the ones further back.
6. Paradise Beach
Paradise Beach in Ksamil is hugely popular, especially on Instagram, thanks to its photogenic jetty.
It’s crowded during the high season, so make sure to arrive by 8:00 AM to secure a good spot on the beach.
7. Puerto Rico Beach
Puerto Rico Beach in Ksamil is quieter than the northern beaches but expect water activities and kids splashing around.
There’s just one nearby restaurant; it’s decent but not as good as Abiori or others up north.
Also, the beach beds are near a busy boat dock, so there’s constant commotion from people using the boats.
8. Mirror Beach (Pasqyra)
Mirror Beach is a 15-minute drive from Ksamil, and it’s a hidden gem.
It’s less crowded and has clear waters and interesting rocks.
The water quality here is top-notch; in fact, it’s so clear and calm that the surface often looks like glass, hence the name “Mirror Beach.”
Remember, this isn’t your bustling beach lined with bars and loud music. It’s very basic!
9. Pulebardha Beach (Seagull Beach)
Pulebardha Beach is a 20-minute drive from Ksamil and much quieter than other local beaches.
It’s got clear waters and a relaxed vibe, surrounded by nature. Great for a peaceful day at the beach without the crowds.
10. Ksamil Islands
Isole Gemelle di Ksamil, located on Ksamil Island, has a small but popular beach.
To get a good spot, go early; it fills up fast. The beach has limited beach chairs and lots of umbrellas. The ground is rocky, so finding a comfy place for your towel can be a challenge.
There’s a simple shack for drinks and a basic toilet. Expect to be snug with neighbors – it’s one of the smallest beaches in the area.
